What you can do
Image Converter Lab provides free browser tools for changing image formats, reducing file size, and cropping the area you need. No installation or account is required, and selected images are not uploaded to a server.
How files are processed
The browser reads an image, draws it to HTML Canvas, and creates a new JPG, PNG, or WebP file. JPG conversion uses quality 0.92, WebP conversion uses 0.86, compression offers four quality levels, and cropping saves the selected area.
What can change
Changing formats can affect transparency, file size, and encoding quality. Transparent areas become white in JPG, and an animated WebP becomes one still image. Each result card shows the original size, result size, and percentage change.
Available tools
You can convert PNG, JPG, and WebP images, compress them by quality level, and crop a selected area.
