How Crop Image works
Crop an image to keep only the area you need. Lock the current aspect ratio or enter the width and height directly, then save the selection as a new file.
Lock ratio or enter a size
Lock aspect ratio keeps the current rectangle proportion while you resize it. Custom size lets you enter the exact width and height, then move the box to choose the saved area.
Plan the finished crop
- Use equal width and height for a square.
- Enter the ratio needed for a landscape or portrait card.
- Move the box to set the space around faces, products, or text.
Saved image
The selected pixel dimensions become the result dimensions. JPG, PNG, and WebP files keep their original format and are saved as a new file.
